To further strengthen Sandvik Coromants strategy execution and investment prioritizations, as well as to increase speed and efficiency, we are establishing an Enterprise Program Management Office (E-PMO) function. The main purpose of this new function is to secure alignment between our strategy, business objectives and the initiatives executed, as well as to prioritize investments - ensuring that we do the right things, in the right way and in the right order. With this, we create alignment within the entire Sandvik Coromant company, with streamlined focus on profitable business and customer benefits.

The Enterprise PMO function will provide the organizational home where the company strategy is to be converted into programs and projects, and then executed. This will be a centralized business function which operates at a strategic level and provides enterprise wide governance on: project portfolio management, standardized programs, project models and tools. As a Center of Excellence for transformation approach and change management expertise, the Enterprise PMO will act in close collaboration, and aligned with, the PMOs in the different functions within Sandvik Coromant.

In this position, you report directly to the President of Sandvik Coromant and are member of the Sandvik Coromant Management team. The location is flexible and international travel is a natural part of the job.

Your challenge As Vice President Enterprise PMO, your mission is to set the scene for a streamlined enterprise governed Program Portfolio management and your first task is to establish the function, build the team and connect to current activities. You define, launch and support the implementation of standard ways of working, performance management tools and techniques introduced across the programs to ensure that benefits, risks and exceptions of deliverables are identified and appropriately addressed.

You bring an approach that is characterized by value for business, challenge the way we have done things in the past - and with performance management as key - you take lead in setting demands, making priorities, monitoring and evaluating our business transformation programs together with Sandvik Coromant’s executive management team. You keep stakeholders updated and informed on the progress of change programs and business transformations, and to generate commitment and synergies, you actively promote a culture characterized by open communication and knowledge transfer between all stakeholders.

Working closely with the PMO’s and other related project departments from functions such as Production, Sales, IT, Product Management and R&D, you ensure a coordinated and collaborative setting that effectively utilizes resources and leverage the capabilities within the full enterprise of Sandvik Coromant. You and your function have a key role to also support capability building and provide mentoring and coaching on program and project management in all parts of Sandvik Coromant.

    Your profile For this position, we are looking for someone with a management consultancy background and with several years’ experience from working in an industrial setting, preferably in a line management position. You are a qualified business developer and it’s beneficial if you have recent experience from acting in a positon as Enterprise PMO and from driving business transformation, preferably including digital transformation. To be successful in this position, you need to be highly skilled in performance management and the tools and methods used in this line of work. We also see that you have an academic background relevant to this position, and as we act on a global scale, you have good communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.

Business acumen and thoroughness is in your nature, and as a master in your field, you have the confidence and ability to challenge, influence and guide decision making at executive management level. In addition, you are a highly motivated change manager who easily gets people and stakeholders onboard, and as you build confidence in visions, strategies and tactical decisions - you direct our business transformation programs and project portfolio towards a more sustainable and efficient way of working.
