To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Sub Regional Manager Germany & Austria (m/f).

As the Service Leader for Germany and Austria you are responsible for running and growing a large and complex field service business with a strong mix of both transactional and enterprise customers. In this role you have accountability for driving a high performance culture which delivers upon Agilent’s strategic objectives. This is centred on building loyalty with our customers, shareholders and employees coupled with developing organizational capabilities to meet future business challenges.

The role includes providing leadership and management oversight on all aspects of our field service business employees, systems and processes as well the ability to execute upon the strategy in a systematic manner.

Your responsibilities:

  • Accountable for leading Customer Service Organisation operation across Germany & Austria

  • Has P&L; and resource accountability in the Sub Region

  • Owns Customer Satisfaction and Employee Leadership performance in the Sub Region

  • Accountable for the end to end service process and customer experience from call receipt to call closure

  • Incorporates innovative business practices and models to drive customer loyalty in a very competitive landscape.

  • Ensures good co-operation and collaboration with other business partners (Sales teams, OF, COpC, SPL etc)

  • Drives Business Planning as well as operational and organizational development in the Sub Region

  • Executes upon and grows our highly transactional business model (operational excellence) as well as creates a customer intimacy model for key accounts.

  • Maintains customer alliances with key Agilent customers, as well as builds strategic partnerships in order to execute the business strategies

  • Actively fosters a quality and continuous improvement culture within the organization challenging the status quo to improve business operations as well as cost effectiveness

  • Reviews all business operations to ensure brand, culture and strategic objectives are achieved.

  • Safeguards the Agilent brand, reputation and assets by ensuring policies and procedures are maintained and followed in accordance with corporate guidelines

Organizational Placement:

  • Reports to the EMEAI Customer Service Organisation Director

  • Typically Integrating Manager level position

Qualifications

Your qualifications:

  • BA/BS or equivalent in Life Sciences, Engineering or relevant discipline

  • Customer Service Operations Management experience of 3-5 years minimum

  • Team building/development and cross-functional leadership skills, enhancing collaboration between BU’s

  • Natural leadership with effective people & performance management and coaching skills

  • Business acumen, competency of analyzing and acting on financial information to drive business results (costs & revenue)

  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English & German

  • Effective collaboration skills

  • Promoter of Innovation and Change management

  • Demonstrated a passion for Customer satisfaction

  • Strategic thinking skills

  • Results oriented with strong execution discipline

  • Educational degree in a relevant discipline

  • Proven track-record in professional customer support, with 3-5 years practical support and/or sales experience
