We are currently creating a global operating environment through significant transformation by moving data to a cloud environment as well as harmonizing and standardizing processes. We are now looking for a Manager for Data Center Services – a position with great possibilities to influence and energize the development of the function.
This position is located in either Stockholm and Sandviken, and some international travel is a natural part of the job.
In this position, you are accountable for managing all aspects of the service and the service production, where you ensure delivery to users and manage an outsourced environment. You define content of the service and follow up service levels both internally and externally, and by creating and maintaining a service improvement plan, you also have full management responsibility for budget, delivery and quality. Establishing good relationships and collaboration with key stakeholders and business representatives, as well as contributing to the overall development of the Enterprise Services function within Sandvik IT Services are also part of your responsibilities.
Furthermore, you are accountable for managing in total 22 internal and external consultants performing Data Center service tasks. You are also chairing out IT Service Management board with our outsourcing provider and need to spend a significant part in operational and tactical supplier steering.
We are looking for someone with a BSc in Business Administration, IT or other relevant field, as well as experience from working with global IT delivery and managing IT delivery to businesses. You also have documented, successful experience from a managerial position including managing suppliers, while familiarity with our business and Sandvik’s HR system and processes are advantageous. Working in an international setting, your communication skills in English must be great, both verbally and in writing, while skills in Swedish are beneficial.
