Job Description

At FLIR Instruments in Sweden, we develop thermal cameras, test & measurement equipment, reporting-software, cloud-services, etc. Our thermal cameras range from mobile-phone accessories for consumers, to advanced handheld cameras and fixed installations for professionals.

Working as a user researcher;

Do you like to:

  • Interact with professional customers from diverse fields (e.g. Firemen, Electricians etc.)

  • Understand the users’ challenging work tasks and needs

  • Run in-depth analysis of quantitative customer data

  • Have strategic impact on future products and services

  • Inject your insights into creative design-sessions to explore future innovate customer solutions

  • Work with products that make a difference in minimizing climate change, increase work safety, and lead to healthier indoor-environments

What to do as a User Researcher:

  • Plan and execute activities that lead to deeper customer insights of our existing users and potentially new target groups

  • Validate the user experience of new products and services continuously, from the very first UX-concept of a new product, through the product development, to the finished product.

  • Communicate your insights and work together with product managers, designers and development teams

  • Identify and explore new user research methods that improve on our current work practice

Your background:

  • Previous work experience in a user research/UX research role

  • A degree in Human Computer interaction (HCI), Psychology, Interaction design, Social Sciences, or similar

  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods

  • Meriting with experience of web-analytics platforms, A/B-testing, etc.

  • Fluent in English
