In this role you will be leading the Warranty and Quality (OQR) team, in order to handle customer complaints and analyze warranty claims, define trends and actions, identify technical problems, issue regular reports to senior management and collaborate with service centers.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing support to the CT’s

  • Manage the Warranty and Quality group (OQR): information, coaching, working to improve and develop the way of working including tools, processes, and innovation activities.

  • Handle working meetings with OQR: meetings include general information of both organizational and administrational nature, but also warranty and quality issues, discussion and decisions how to handle highlighted warranty cases. Provide monthly reports with activities accomplished.

  • Manage OQR SharePoint site, updating relevant information.

  • Define and administrate the warranty statistics and, in cooperation with Aftermarket and IT departments, participate in development/update of analysis tools.

  • Key products Quality follow-up (i.e. Concertor). Chairman of the meetings, write and distribute “Minutes of meetings”, follow up on activities with item responsible board members.

  • CD-documents (Control Documents). Issuer and approver of CD-documents using the CD-document tool. The CD-documents shall be revised minimum every second year.

  • MBF-meetings: analysis of actions correlated to Pareto analysis on Warranty costs. Participate in the MBF-meetings and follow up requested issues related to design and development teams in Sundbyberg.

  • Warranty and quality meetings. Participate in Warranty and Quality meetings with GC, CT and other stakeholders regarding warranty and quality issues. Follow up on decided actions.

  • Warranty tool. Participate in development of new warranty tool and further updates. Highlight the needs for OQR and drive the request for change.

  • Highlighted quality issues. Drive and follow up highlighted quality issues on request from management.

  • Approve financial warranty payments. By using the tool WebChange, approve OQR colleagues’ approved financial payments of warranty cases that go beyond their limit according to DOA.

You will report to the Director Quality EMEA and be situated in Sundbyberg, Sweden.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you are used to work with technical drawings, standards and specification and used to work with data: from Key Business Metrics monitoring (mainly Quality Costs related) take actions with the appropriate stakeholders to assure continuous improvement. You also have hydraulic and electrical principles knowledge, specially related to failure analysis and MS Office programs knowledge.

5 years of experience in similar position is preferable.

A bachelor/master degree in engineering or quality specialization is required. Good communication skills in written and spoken English is mandatory.
