Job Summary

As Sales Specialist, you are responsible of the entire sales process for a specified customer portfolio within the corporate and leisure segment, which you contract, negotiate and implement as well as establish action plans for your customers. The focus will be on building and developing long-term relationships. The role also includes a large focus in gaining new customers.

Main tasks:

  • To best manage an existing customer portfolio with corporate customers.

  • Continuously work with new customer processing both locally and globally

  • Develop and run business with corporate and conference clients as well as establish long-term relationships.

  • Overall responsible for ensuring that set budget goals are met.

  • Understand and actively promote Marriott's B2B program to achieve sales results.

  • Compile and implement quarterly action plans agreed with Sales Director.

Main requirements:

  • Strong performance focus, drive and previous experiences of building and maintaining long-term relationships.

  • Bachelor's degree or similar in the relevant field.

  • At least 2 years experience in sales in the service industry, big advantage of previous experience in the hotel industry.

  • High knowledge and understanding of industry standards and trends.

  • A well established network in the industry is an advantage.

  • Excellent skills in communication and presentation techniques in Swedish and English in both speech and writing.

  • Approved internal sales test within the Marriott Group.

  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.

  • Driving license.
