We are looking for a well-rounded Android developer to join our app team and help us to build an application that bring the joy of buying and selling to hundreds of thousands of users.
You will play a fundamental role in the development of our mobile apps; implementing new features, improving performance and building new user interfaces. Above all, you will join a team with the vision of building a mobile experience that our customers love.
What does Success Look Like?
You will build a cutting edge Android app and write readable, maintainable object-oriented Java.
You will implement new features and work across the entire product.
You will collaborate with a small autonomous team of developers, designer, QA and product owner to find end-to-end solutions to important problems.
You will become a valued member of an autonomous and cross-functional team.
You will share knowledge and help the team evolve best practices.
You might have a deep understanding of modern Android development and at least 3-5 years of professional experience.
You are driven, innovative and flexible in your way of working.
You care about quality and you know what it means to ship high quality code.
You have great communication skills; both towards other developers, UX/Designers as well as Product Owners.
You enjoy a fast paced, collaborative & agile environment and prefer to create great products together with your team.
You might have a product mindset and care about user experience.
You have experience in driving technical projects from beginning to end.
You might have experience with Java, Android SDK, Android Studio, Git Releasing, release management in Google Play.
It is a bonus if you have experience from e-commerce or related industries but not a must.
