On Friday 15th December , it was announced that Unilever was to sell the Spreads business to KKR and the transfer of ownership is expected to take place in July 2018 . KKR are committed to supporting the business’ growth ambition, whilst continuing to follow Unilever’s responsible sourcing policies , including working towards the goal of sourcing 100 per cent sustainable palm oil by 2019.
About the role
Together with your colleagues in Finland and Denmark you will be responsible for the financial forecasting and controls in the Nordics. You will drive this approach across the Nordic markets and report to the Nordic Finance Manager. As the Controller, you will also work in commercial controller function that business partner the Swedish organization in financially related questions.
Managing and reporting of overheads (OVHs) and brand marketing investments (BMI) costs
Ensure correct bookings of costs in P&L
Forecast working capital
Support related budget owners
Shared Service Operating Centre governance, continuous improvement on rule based journals and controls
Coordinate OVH BMI targets with the business unit (BU) countries
Provide ad-hoc support to countries within the BU
Good academic record with a Master/Bachelor degree in Finance/Economics
Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience of working in a financial accounting or reporting role
Solid IT capabilities, including strong working knowledge of key Microsoft Office applications. SAP experience beneficial
Fluent in English
Strong influencing and communication skills
Delivery-focused with a high degree of ownership
Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
Drive, energy and passion for developing business and financial processes and capabilities
