Senior Business Consultant for IBM iX

IBM Digital Strategy & Interactive Experience (DS&iX), the world’s largest digital agency and consultancy, is looking to add a Senior Business Consultant to its iX team in Stockholm. A passion for digital strategy and business is a must.

What will you do?

A successful candidate will contribute to drive IBM’s Digital Reinvention agenda to help businesses confront disruptive challenges by combining progressive digital strategies and transformational technology to bring to life future-shaping experiences.

The key responsibilities and tasks of the Senior Business Consultant will be to:

  • Identify clients’ needs and develop solutions to business problems which may include process optimization and improvements as well as business and digital transformation

  • Lead the work of business activities in projects including understanding the holistic view of the client situation, drive the business agenda throughout the project and ensure that the business needs are met by the solution

  • Identify, sell, and manage delivery of digital strategy efforts, ranging from Digital Reinvention, Experience Strategy, Brand & Content Strategy, Cost Transformation etc

  • Lead and participate in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver digital strategy projects

  • Be a trusted advisor and strategic resource to stakeholders and team members

  • Contribute to thought-leadership across the disciplines of digital strategy

What do we look for in a successful candidate?

  • Minimum Master’s degree with strong academic record

  • 5-10 years’ experience of leading the design of digital experiences from strategy to execution in projects

  • Experience in Design and Customer Experience methodologies

  • Keen interest in the latest technology and business thought-leadership

  • Proven history of managing and participating in teams in a client facing environment

  • First class written and verbal communication skills; the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions in a logical and powerful manner in Swedish and English

  • Strong dedication to the craft of management consulting, such as problem solving, quantitative and qualitative analysis, ideation, team work etc.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
