Sandvik Process Systems (SPS) is a fast-growing product area within the Sandvik Group. Our operations focus on endless-strip steel belts in stainless and carbon materials, as well as steel-belt-based process solutions. Our customers are found in many segments, primarily within the wood, chemical and food processing industries. We have approximately 600 employees in 35 countries, generating global sales close to 2 billion SEK. Recently, Sandvik has entered an agreement to divest our operations, and this creates a unique opportunity for us to build up a brand new treasury function.
Therefore, we are looking for a Treasurer to be a part of this journey by taking the lead in the development of frameworks, processes and governance to maximize shareholder value and to ensure Sandvik Process Systems´ position in the market. The location for this position is Sandviken, Sweden, and you report directly to the CFO.
As Treasurer you are responsible for managing the financial net internal capital structure and dividend flows, as well as for handling financial risks. The operations involve liquidity and funding, setting financial targets and ensuring best practice. In this position, you support and supervise the subsidiaries in all bank- and treasury- oriented processes and, furthermore, you hold a key role in maintaining excellent bank relationships and communicating effectively with regard to our financial activities. We work as a lean team in the head office, where flexibility and close cooperation are important.
We are looking for someone with a degree in business or finance, and solid treasury management experience. You have broad experience from hedging techniques, cash management and funding, and you understand financial and accounting drivers connected to our financial markets. With profound business acumen and solid experience, you are an expert in financial risk assessments. Lastly, as we operate in an international setting, we require that you have excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
We are sincerely interested in, and value, your passion and personality. You think and act strategically and pay close attention when analyzing details. Using your financial experience, you lead initiatives and improve our ways of working within your area of expertise, while constantly being proactive and evaluating possible risks from both a local and a global perspective. Additionally, you work in line with Sandvik Process Systems´ leadership model and core values in setting ambitious targets, delivering on promises and following through on short- and long-term objectives. With integrity, interest and ability, you lead and motivate people in our organization and build relationships based on honesty, respect and trust, and you use your broad communication skills to interact with our internal and external stakeholders.
We are a company with an open-minded culture, actively working to create a workplace that is characterized by diversity and inclusion.
