  • Manages employees in Pre-sales Application Engineering family

  • Responsible for effective business development during the pre-sales sales process, through the provision of technical expertise

  • Manages the planning, development and utilization of human resources required to assist the field organization from deal qualification to deal closures

  • Develops internal partnership and external relationships in order to understand customers’ requirements, to recommend appropriate solutions and to influence future product design

  • Stays current on, anticipates trends and developments and is knowledgeable on competition in relevant field.

  • Manages employees responsible for providing technical expertise to the field organization in order to meet or exceed sales quota

  • Directs, manages resources to implement tactical business plans and practice related pre-sales AE activities

  • Develops, implements solutions to department issues

Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Master Degree or University Degree or equivalent

  • Minimum of 3 years related experience as a supervisor and/or individual contributor, with typically 5 to 10 years experience

  • Requires strong management skills
