role is for a Project Manager in the Order to Cash (O2C) Global Process Owner
(GPO) organization. The GPO team provides strategic direction, project
leadership and process design for O2C functions.
primary responsibilities of this role are global project management and
operational process support of Order to Cash functions at Oracle. The candidate
will apply international business experience while leading and managing
projects in compliance with local statutory regulations, as well as Oracle
policies. Solutions are developed in partnership with internal and
external resources working across multiple ecommerce platforms and strategies.
candidate will execute according to schedule, identify roadblocks and update
stakeholders as appropriate. They will provide strong cross-functional team
leadership, pre and post-implementation support, change management across organizations,
detailed documentation, and process improvement through project stabilization. The
person in this role will also be called upon as a GPO team leader to support
additional A/R initiatives, system testing, operational guidance and other projects
as needed. They will coordinate activities among cross-functional and
cross-border teams, including third parties and customer resources. They will
identify opportunities to improve the customer experience. They will also be
responsible for creating, maintaining and archiving detailed project
documentation and decision history.
ideal candidate has an eCommerce or technical background in Procurement,
Payables or Receivables. They have prior experience with various
electronic languages and protocols. They are a strong team leader with a proven
track record in managing global virtual teams. They understand the Quote-to-Cash
lifecycle, have experience in international business and an understanding of
generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The ideal candidate
also has experience with Oracle Financials and/or Oracle eBusiness Suite.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, PC deployment and the like.
Coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project specifications, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically 5 years of project management, product design or related experience needed.
