Our Project Management Office belongs to the R&D department and consists of a small team of project managers. The main objective is to run development projects in Business Unit Stationary Crushing and Screening with a focus on crushers in Sandvik’s organization. We are now looking for a driven and experienced project manager who seeks new challenges and wants to work in a global company with exciting products.

The location for this position is Svedala, 20km from Malmö.

Job Summary

In this position, you plan, organize, monitor, execute and control projects, both large and small, to achieve project delivery on time, as budgeted and within the specified scope and quality, in accordance with Sandvik Project models and appropriate methods. You create, develop and execute the project plan according to project charters; allocate and secure resources for the project; ensure efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources; and manage dependencies, risks and opportunities. Furthermore, you manage changes to the project scope imposed by customer or steering group decisions.

As you communicate effectively with the project team and stakeholders, you lead, manage, coach and motivate your team members; follow up and report on project status; and hand over project deliverables to receiving organizations.Using your broad experience, combined with your drive and development skills, you take an important part in the team to improve our ways of working with project management.

Some international travel is a natural part of this role.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a degree relevant for the position, or similar knowledge gained from previous work experience, with more than five years overall project management experience, preferably in mechanical development projects. You have good knowledge of the different phases in project management. IPMA or PMI certification and experience working with development projects within automation are advantageous. This position requires that you have excellent skills in both Swedish and English.
