As a Category Planning and Activation Manager for our meals division, you will lead and coordinate the work to translate our Philadelphia brand strategies and our Swedish customers category growth strategies into a single story that resonates with our customers, showing them ultimately how our products and activations can help them grow their business while Philadelphia is winning in Sweden as a result.

The Category Planning and Activation Manager will report to the Head of Category Planning Nordics, based in Sweden, and will be a key part of our Northern European Sales team.

Main Responsibilities:

Category development

• Combining Category Growth strategies and Picture of Success – in what way and at what customer/banner can our portfolio play a winning role in Sweden

• Develop the agreed NPD bundle to a relevant offer for Swedish customers with a strong selling story

• Be the voice of the Swedish Retail Environment by continually sharing customer strategies, plans and thinking so the latest Trading Landscape knowledge is shared internally to influence plans

In-store and on-line activation

• Develop the optimal annual BTL activation plan, sales cycle by sales cycle, for retail and AFH customers

• Master Shopper responsibility and cost control according to budget for the Swedish activation program

• Own the development of trade material following communication guidelines from marketing

• Influence the planning and making of assets to secure the optimal in-store/call-to-action relevance

• Control the physical flow of trade materials from development/design to field sales

• Academic Degree specializing in Business Management, Sales, Marketing or similar field

• Customer and category planning experience preferred from FMCG industry

• Good understanding of Nielsen data

• Strong sales experience proved by results in commercial field

• Excellent system skills (MS Office/ SAP, BI)

• Very good analytical and planning skills and ability of managing multiple projects

• Excellent communication skills (written & spoken)

• Proactive, self-motivated individual who is a good team player

• Ability to work under time pressure, tight deadlines and manage different tasks at the same time

• Fluent in English and Swedish language, written and spoken
