As a Senior Sales Director in Oracle’s Hospitality Global Business Unit the applicant will be responsible for managing a team of experienced sales people selling Oracle Hospitality Software Solutions to the Food & Beverage market across the Nordic Regions.

Key Tasks / Responsibilities to include:

  • Manage a diverse team of sales people at various levels and experience.

  • Meet and exceed agreed sales and gross margin targets consistently.

  • Lead the German Sales Manager, Marketing initiatives, Presales and consulting in the region

  • Generate new business and ability to grow an extensive, qualified pipeline through sales and marketing

  • Demonstrated experience and confidence in negotiating and closing sales

  • Manage, develop and maintain sales plans and processes within designated area of responsibility within business unit

  • Be familiar with the ‘Commit ‘ culture of a leading NASDAQ listed business

  • Weekly and monthly reporting on sales forecasts

  • Keep up to date on all of Oracle Hospitality's products and services

  • Ability to present and demonstrate competently at all levels

  • Be an active and positive contributor to the EMEA Leadership Team

Experience:

  • Strong Sales Leadership experience with a background in hunting for new business.

  • Experience of Managing teams of software sales people in a cloud based environment

  • Excellent people management skills and a track record of producing spectacular results.

  • Knowledge of complex software sales environments

  • A problem solver that manages complex and challenging situations

  • Swedish speaker and fluent in written and oral English.

  • Previous experience in international, structured environment

  • Hospitality/Retail experience is desirable but not mandatory

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Overall responsibility for the regions sales, third party alliances, and customer satisfaction. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle

  • s opportunities across all products and product lines.

Manages and develops a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process. May manage a Regional Manager or Branch Manager. Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Builds working relationships with license, consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans. Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis. Manages escalation. Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.

Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interacts internally and externally with executive management involving negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge.
