Strategic Account Manager - SaaS and Technology in Stockholm, Sweden

As an AWS Strategic Account Manager you will have the exciting opportunity to help promote the growth and shape the future of the fastest growing Enterprise technology company in history in the Nordic and Baltic countries. Your responsibility will be to increase the market penetration of AWS in high-growth Nordic technology companies, startups, and SaaS customers in the Nordics and Baltics.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong business background and demonstrated technical aptitude that enables them to engage an account at the CXO level as well as with software developers, data scientists, and IT architects. She/He should also be an entrepreneurial self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Promote AWS services in the Nordics and Baltics.

  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.

  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.

  • Drive and facilitate customer adoption.

  • Maintain a robust projects and opportunity pipeline.

  • Work with partners to extend reach and promote adoption.

  • Contribute to a positive customer experience.

  • Expect moderate travel.

  • Significant account management or business development experience in the IT industry.

  • Extensive quota-carrying technology sales experience.

  • Direct field experience in working with startups, software companies, and/or videogame industry customers in the Nordics.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.

  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.

  • Fluent in English

  • BA/BS degree preferred.

  • A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus.

  • Proficiency in a Nordic language a plus.

  • Knowledge of common funding mechanisms and communities for startups.

  • Experience working with Nordic Venture Capital, Private Equity, and Incubator/Accelerator community.
