Job Summary:

We are now looking for a Software Developer to develop embedded software for our new 5G Radio products. The role is placed in a team where responsibility for the low lever drivers are developed and maintained. Your role will include all development activities such as: requirement analysis, system design, architecture design, hardware design, software design, integration, verification, simulations, tools design. A large part of the job includes working together with other organizations such as hardware design and Hardware/Software Integration. The team are working on several project in parallel which will give you a good knowledge of the coming 5G Radio products developed by Ericsson. Our ways of working focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

Responsibilities:

  • You will work closely together with our Radio hardware organization to understand our new Radio products

  • Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling.

  • Understand how to systemize a good software functional solution

  • Drive development of low level driver software in C++

  • Work with test case development in Java

  • Develop and test high quality products

  • Perform trouble shooting and customer support

  • Drive continuous improvements of products and processes

  • Develop deep competence in the technical domain and answer up to other organizations

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • Education: B.Sc or M.Sc in software or electronics with focus on programming

  • Minimum years of experience: 3 years

  • Domain experience: Systemization and Embedded programming in C++

  • Domain experience: Test development in Java

  • Radio Hardware components knowledge being able to understand layouts and hardware component interwork descriptions
