At DICE the Product Director will work in the Star Wars Battlefront Franchise team to define and execute the long-term vision for our business. Accountable for the future, but deployed in the now to make change happen, you will engage with teams and partners located all over the world.

We are looking for an individual who plays and loves games, and particularly online shooter games and has an interest in the genre and the market.

The Role

Through consumer insight, player feedback, creative input from the game team, the Product Director is accountable for creating and executing of the strategy that will deliver high level of engagement and revenue over the lifetime of the franchise.Being accountable for the franchise requires to provide regular updates on its performance by establishing KPIs, reports and any other form of documentation that provide a clear and accurate view of the businesses performance and the level of engagements of players with the service over time.As the leader of a multi-disciplinary group, the Product Director must have strong foundational skills in business management, marketing, finance, game development and robust analytical skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Works in the franchise team with the EP, DPD, SP’s and partners to help the teams deliver against vision.

  • Owner of the monetization team including long term vision and roadmap

  • Collaborates with Live Service Production and Brand Marketing to develop Service Content Programming plans, and drive ongoing reviews of live service execution and performance for Star Wars Battlefront

  • Defines Live Service performance KPIs for our Star Wars Battlefront titles, and drives ongoing reporting and visibility of title performance through the studio via our Global Analytics team.

  • Maintains close relationships to all game teams in production

  • Recommend and guide the team to adopt current and industry best practices for data driven efficiencies and processes in live services


  • 5 years’ experience in an e-commerce / digital marketing role at a leading e-commerce or web business.

  • 5 years+ of experience in the game industry in a producer or product manager role.

  • Experience in running digital/virtual economies.

  • Experience in working with and influencing internal stakeholder to maximize joint positive outcomes.

  • Experience in digital service benchmarking and optimization, ideally in the entertainment sector.

  • Computer Science, Business/Marketing/Economics degree or equivalent qualifications desirable


  • Excellent understanding and proven track record of managing digital services (game, e-commerce, web)

  • Excellent economics and business fundamentals.

  • Ability to immerse yourself in data and identify key trends and opportunities

  • Ability to manage vertically and laterally in a complex organization

  • Excellent command of the English language

  • Ability to communicate key messages across a broad audience

  • Ability to guide and lead the team through change when necessary

  • Demonstrated ability to balance tactical execution and tradeoffs

  • Excellent understanding of core free to play and social gaming dynamics
