The Challenge Ahead:

As a Key Account Manager you will have an essential role of creating and maintaining relationships with our partners in order to deliver against the EA revenue and profit plan.

What a Key Account Manager does at EA:

The successful applicant will have full P&L responsibility for Volume, Net Revenue, Gross Profit and Trade investment as well as market share and participation. They will be required to negotiate business plans and manage sales of our EA range in line with EA’s key strategy.

It is essential to pro-actively develop the customer relationship, building the business through the understanding of the sector and offering a data driven strategy to drive sustainable profit growth.

The ideal candidate will be highly numerate, with strong analytical skills and have a passion for negotiation. Good communication skills will be essential in order to build and develop the customer relationship, whilst the ability to demonstrate complex problem solving will be important to deliver key Nordic objectives. Prior account management experience is a must and the successful candidate will receive focussed training and coaching within role to support their functional and leadership development.

  • Distribution: maximize product lifecycle revenue / profitability at assigned customers from presell, to launch, and beyond. Leverage product evangelism, consultative selling, and customer expertise to gain customer alignment to plans.

  • Merchandising / trade marketing: direct the creation of customer specific merchandising and marketing programs to maximize in store and online ROI.

  • Forecasting: communicate product launch and ongoing inventory needs within EA. Align customer to product forecast expectations. Maximize product launch and quarterly forecast accuracy.

The next great EA Key Account Manager also needs:

  • Fluent in Swedish and English

  • Proven track record of Accounts retails experience, ideally within digital products and services.

  • Demonstration of strong commercial awareness and judgment.

  • Proven track record of maintaining, developing and managing client relationships

  • Customer Focussed: Able to build effective customer relationships and respond to customer needs quickly. Develops strategic partnerships and sets and monitors internal and external service standards

  • Collaborative: Able to work well as part of a team, and liaise successfully with colleagues at all levels across the business.

  • Proactive: A positive, enthusiastic and motivated individual able to work on their own initiative.

  • Communicator: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels internally and with the customer

  • Professional: Able to represent EA to the high standard customers have come to expect, operates with integrity and is commercially aware

  • Analytical: Demonstrates a problem solving approach but broad thinking and detail oriented,

  • Organised: Effectively priorities actions and manages deadlines.
