There’s a ton of exciting challenges ahead if you’re interested in selling a service used by Facebook, Twitter, Spotify, MailChimp, and more than 800,000 other users from all over the world. With a lot of customers comes a lot of Sales. For our Sales department at Pingdom we’re now looking for a Sales Representative to our Stockholm Office. The position as Sales Representative is salaried and consists of base salary + commission (based on quota).

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and work towards meeting personal sales targets and quotas

  • Manage sales process through lead qualification, needs analysis, product demonstration, negotiation and close

  • Establish customers' needs, explain products and services to them, which may involve providing technical descriptions of Pingdom’s services and how they may be used

  • Keep team lead (and management) informed by submitting activity and result reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans

  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

  • Quote prices, informing customers of available methods of payment

Primary product knowledge:

  • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about our products and services

Secondary product knowledge:

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the territory, marketplace, competitive offerings and other agency issues relevant to the position

Qualifications:

Pingdom is not your traditional software company. We are a Software as a Services provider where the focus for you as a Sales Representative is less on pure IT knowledge and more on having the right attitude together with a somewhat deeper grasp than normal of the Internet. We also believe you have a background to some extent is in SaaS sales with good grasp of how services such as ours and our customers are delivered. You have experience in working with set goals and budget. In a previous role you have worked together with other members of a sales team and you know and understand how communication and respect for your colleagues work.

Although your daily life as a Pingdom Sales Representative is a fast-paced and busy, reaching out to customer news and old, we are not a call center and we prefer quality over quantity in how we approach our customers.
