Sweden is a key location for us, the base of the iconic DICE studio, alongside the studios of Ghost, Uprise and other core teams. Due to our growth, we need an HR Manager to work across multiple locations serving a diverse mix of studio and technical teams.
The challenge ahead
We are now looking for an experienced and highly motivated HR Manager to join our HR team in Stockholm. Your, as well as our, objectives will be to coach, support, and challenge our leaders and managers to create a highly engaged and talented workforce. The role is strategic as well as hands on in a very exciting, creative and cutting-edge industry. You will work in an environment studio that is striving to create the best digital entertainment in the world.
The right person has to be comfortable and familiar with working in a rapidly-changing, high growth environment where you have a real desire to work proactively with prioritized HR and business initiatives.
You will partner with different business units and teams and their managers to develop and implement people strategies at individual and team levels, as well as support them with general HR related matters.
Being an HR Manager you will work closely with the rest of the HR team in Stockholm, Guildford, Gothenburg and LA and with our Centers of excellence, for example: Talent Acquisition, University relation, Compensation and Benefits and Global Mobility. Furthermore you will:
Strategically manage and operationally handling of the Business units you are responsible for
Close partnership with Business Leaders to set appropriate HR agenda and initiatives in line with business strategy.
Support, facilitate and create individual and team development plans
Develop and lead the delivery of local and international HR programs that drive employee engagement and development.
Be a part of initiatives to improve our overall HR offerings within Studios Europe
Identify appropriate talent and strategic workforce planning solutions. Establish clarity about critical roles across the studio and develop strategies to address retention risks and skill gaps, ensuring succession plans are in place for key roles considering internal talent as a priority.
We are looking for someone with
Proven experience in working with leaders in a consultative and coaching way; perhaps as an Sr HR generalist or Sr HRBP with a strategic perspective and tactical execution.
Strong business and people acumen; able to frame HR initiatives and expertise in a business context; able to think, act and communicate strategically. Insightful about how people will be impacted as a result of business decisions; challenge driven.
Experience from working with HR processes such as performance management, talent management, compensation planning, talent mapping, workforce planning etc.
Independent thinking with results focus – able to quickly sort through information, form an opinion, and develop solutions.
Project leadership skills with the ability to start and close projects.
Presentation skills experience, ability to produce presentations and work with sell-in and roll-outs.
Since the role to a high degree will work on an international level, it is important to speak English fluently; being used to working in an international environment is a benefit.
Experience from working in a tech industry is a plus.
