The Walt Disney Company Digital Channel Sales Director – Nordics in Stockholm, Sweden
We are looking for an experienced candidate to fill the permanent position of Digital Channel Sales Director, based in Stockholm Sweden. The successful candidate will be part of Disney’s Media Distribution (DMD) team which looks after the development and implementation of commercial strategies for the linear TV and digital distribution of The Walt Disney Company's channels and content. They will be responsible for the execution of the Nordic digital strategy and commercial B2B business for channel distribution, branded SVOD services and transactional business.
This pivotal role will deliver and maximize DMD Nordic’s Channel and Digital revenues and will provide leadership for sales team for channel distribution and digital sales. This will be achieved by defining business development strategy and vision for Channel distribution, branded TV, SVOD services, transactional and interactive.

Responsibilities : Strategy
Support DMD GM and internal stakeholders in identifying and driving key strategic priorities, business development and areas of focus in the short, medium and long term, tailored to the Nordic’s with ongoing review and assessment of evolution of the landscape and market players
Champion and appropriately adapt Regional Digital and Channel distribution strategy in Nordic
Work closely with GM and Programme sales to balance program sales and Digital sales to secure that local strategy and execution maximizes the total DMD revenues and growth in the broader context of the territory and the franchise priorities
Support the commercial development of new digital products and licensing structures
Accountable for Digital and Channel revenues in Nordic
AOP & quarterly forecasting for Digital and Channel revenues in Nordic
Manage the revenue collection, supervise invoicing process
General: Identify, source and negotiate commercial distribution partnerships in line with strategicpriorities to ensure that partners reach the full potential of the deals in place and to innovate their and our business
Work together with the DMD EMEA team to assess commercial potential/feasibility of new deals and develop partnership with pan European players (e.g. Google & Amazon)
Manage and coach Channel and Digital sales team by providing structured and ad hoc commercial guidance to ensure consistency of approach across deal terms as well as the best commercial outcome achievable on all deals. Close partnership with DMD Regional teams and DC teams for Director and local sales teams on sales strategies
Work with legal, finance, technical and marketing teams to close deals and manage them throughout the term
Actively participate in local and regional forums, accurately representing the local agenda
Manage and ensure open communication with multiple internal stakeholders from other local lines of business
