Storage Technical Sales Specialist
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is looking for talents to support the new HPE, its strategy and focus on innovative software-defined and service-focused business model that makes Hybrid IT simple for our customers and accelerates growth.
Developing and driving proactively and independently business opportunities for new storage solutions, particularly focusing on new acquisition accounts.
Working closely with Account Managers, Partners and Presales to grow the pipeline and position the solutions and benefits to the prospective customers.
Is expected to stay abreast of current industry technology, trends, and competition.
Collaborating with Account Manager in fulfilling sales goals and responding to tenders/customer proposals.
Is expected to be self-motivated, sales driven and having hunting mentality, able to work well with multiple sales reps, and be creative in obtaining information and solving problems.
Responsible for covering the full HPE Storage portfolio with a focus on new technology ramp-up for technologies like HPE Nimble Storage, HPE Hyper-converged Solutions, etc.
5 - 10 years of experience selling enterprise solutions into complex organizations using target account selling, solution selling and/or consultative sales techniques.
5+ years of industry experience
Proven track record for new business hunting and customer focus
Detailed knowledge of primary storage, data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions desired.
Good understanding the different storage and back up architectures
Strong Windows & VMWare skills
Familiarity with storage-related solutions from HPE, Dell, EMC, NetApp, Compellent, Equallogic, Nutanix.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills in both English and local language
Ability to transfer knowledge to inexperienced customers and Partners.
Has various personal traits like excellent inter-personal skills, high energy, flexible, self-motivated, trustworthy, friendly and dependable and has excellent follow through skills.
