The Sales Engineering Manager establishes operational objectives for team and sets focus and direction for sales engineers and/or product specialists aligned to industry vertical or business.
He/she drives focus with cross-business and cross-functional resources and drives business process improvement efforts.
Understands complexities of the environment and works within Dell EMC, e.g core sales, marketing, Dell Financial Services and Services, to solve complex business issues.

The Solutions Manager is expected to conduct regular 1:1s as well as team meetings and supports the team members in their Individual Development Programs (IDP)
He/she collaborates with other functions to resolve escalations/customer issues quickly and also consults with customer’s technical management
Graduate degree and 8-10 years relevant experience.
Excellent ability to apply advanced concepts in the technical engineering field to practical business problems and strong understanding of the solution selling process
Drive activity levels for your team (weekly customer engagements, sales plays execution, events invitations and leads follow-up).
Advanced ability to communicate technical concepts, architectures and designs, program strategies, and tactics clearly. Advanced level of solutions and technical knowledge and strong understanding of customer/industry climate.
Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and in writing
Relevant leadership experience. Proven track record in sales –and people management.
Experience from driving forecast, reporting, outlook meetings etc
Experience from driving direct, channel and distribution IT infrastructure presales for datacentre product lines
Advanced presentation skills and the ability to establish mutually beneficial program commitments and expectations with customers.
