Would you like to work with the latest cloud technologies and with Oracles most important clients? Oracle recently launched our Next Generation Infrastructure Cloud Platform as well as a range of new Cloud Platform Services. We are looking for a developer focused on defining and positioning solutions based on the Oracle Cloud Platform.
You will work as a member of the Swedish Technology Presales team with the aim of increasing cloud consumption in the Swedish market. The Technology Presales team is focused on supporting the Technology Sales team in selling IaaS and PaaS services spanning both Database, Middleware and Analytics.
In this role you will be expected to pick up on the latest technology trends and liaise with the sales, service and product management teams to identify and position solutions based on the services (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS) Oracle provides on our Cloud Platform.
Have a strong technical foundation and be able to perform hands-on demos and PoC for the products we sell
Be knowledgeable about development, DevOps, Microservices and Cloud
Be able to design and implement REST and Web services
Have proven Java or PHP programming skills
Have an understanding of SOA and API Management concepts
Be passionate about technology and the value it provides
Have a natural drive to pick up new technology trends through self study
Have experience in defining solution architectures
Have excellent communication skills and be a an excellent presenter
Be able to interpret business requirements and apply technology features to create value
Thrive on change and adapt to be effective
Be able to filter information and prioritize work accordingly
Be confident to drive whiteboard sessions with any audience
Be able to talk with confidence in front of an audience about the cloud services we sell
Has a solid theoretical foundation and holds a masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience from cloud computing technology
Proven verbal and written communications skills both in Swedish and English
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.
Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.
