The individual in this
role will work closely with Oracle Sales representatives and customers to
expertly position payment solutions for the acquisition of Oracle products
and services. The role requires an individual that has the ability to develop
successful relationships on multiple levels (internally and externally),
manage complex transactions from origination to structuring, pricing and
booking. Leading contributor individually and as a team member. Must be able
to demonstrate an ability to provide direction and mentoring of others. Job
duties are varied and will require the ability to make independent judgement.
Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
Integrate into Oracle salesteams, partnering with sales representatives to create payment solutionsthat meet customer needs and enable the acquisition of Oracle solutions.
Train/mentorOracle and Partner sales representatives on the benefits of utilizingOFD and the best practice for integrating OFD solutions into salesopportunities.
Build relationships withexisting OFD customer base as well as the development of new customers.
Assist Oracle sales in understandingcustomer budgeting/accounting preferences/challenges and provide adviceon structuring deals accordingly.
Participate with Oracle sales inforecasting, account planning, deal reviews.
Generate proposals/presentationsto position appropriate OFD solutions with customers.
Provide financial andtransactional analysis on customers to assist OFD Funding & RiskManagement to provide credit approvals.
Generate and negotiate OFDcontracts (in line with OFD business practice policies)
Promote past successes/solutions/bestpractices and collaborate with OFD marketing in the visualization,planning and execution of marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with OFD colleagueswithin EMEA and globally to share best practice and participate inad-hoc project work.
Meetassigned sales volume targets and defined business developmentobjectives (BDO’s).

Proventrack record, 5 years work experience, strong sales background
BA/BSin Business, Finance, or Economics (MBA a plus)
Highenergy, enthusiastic, goal-oriented, self-starter
Demonstratedability to work under pressure
Provenability to sell to business customers
Proficiencyat building and maintaining internal and external relationships
Understandingand familiarity with financial concepts (NPV,Lease pricing), financialstructuring using spreadsheets and financial markets.
Experiencein or familiarity with vendor financing.
Excellentwritten and verbal skills
Excellentorganizational skills with a strong attention to detail
Knowledgeof credit, financial analysis, financial concepts and financial pricing
Strongworking knowledge of Excel and demonstrable ability to work with complexpricing models
Experienceof working in a team setting but also able to work independently
Experiencewith Channel Sales
Knowledgeof the wider IT market and industry trends important

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Oracle Financing works closely with customers and Oracle license sales representatives to structure payment solutions for acquiring Oracle and partner technology.
Works closely with customers and Oracle license sales representatives to structure payment solutions for acquiring Oracle and partner technology. This function includes: soliciting end-user payment transactions; training Oracle and partner license sales personnel to identify opportunities for accelerating technology sales through OFD engagement; participating with license sales in forecast reviews; advising customers of acquisition payment options, and generating proposals for payment solutions; obtaining credit approvals, providing financial and transaction analysis to assist credit underwriting; generating and negotiating payment contracts (within OFD business practices); obtaining customer signatures and assisting the Oracle contract review and signing process.
5-8 years of sales experience. Strong presentation skills. Knowledge of credit, financial analysis, financial concepts, and financial pricing. BA/BS in Business, Finance or Economics. Experience in IT financing and leasing is a plus. MBA a plus. Proven ability to sell to business customers. Experience with Channels sales. Contract negotiation experience. Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role.
