Position Outline:

Fluid Management is a profitable and strategically important Business Unit of Ingersoll Rand’s Industrial Technologies Sector. There is an immediate opening for the role of Sales Manager, Fluid Management, Scandinavia, Russia & CIS . In this role, he/she will report to the European Commercial Leader and will be in charge of delivering profitable growth for the Fluid Management Business in the region. He/She is responsible for channel management, strategy implementation and business development activities that will grow our market share and expand our customer base. He/She will also work closely with the product management and marketing groups to better understand and pursue under-served product and application opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow profitable Sales for the ARO Fluid Business through Distribution or OEM channels in Scandinavia, Russia & CIS
  • Partner, drive and support Distribution to grow the business by identifying new opportunities, application or potential key accounts
  • Share and Provide product, application and market expertise to Distribution
  • Introduces and follow new products or local initiatives
  • Provide product, sales and technical support
  • Provide product training to Distributors and OEMs when needed
  • Animate and lead Distribution to success through solid field presence
  • Interface with Order management, Marketing, Engineering or Product management to solve eventual issues
  • Analyses the competition and markets and reports conclusions to Sales Team Leadership
  • Provide professional planning, reports, opportunity description and business cases to Sales Team Leadership
  • Implement sales & promotions programs
  • Develop and track Distributor business plan
  • Achieve sales target

Formal Education / Skill Requirement:

  • Graduate from a technical school or engineering with some solid business skills
  • Fluent in English required (Russian preferred)
  • Position can be based out of home office located anywhere in Sweden, Denmark, or Finland.years of proven experience in sales with technical products to distributors and to end users
  • Expertise in Pumps technology and their applications (Ideally Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps or Piston Pumps)
  • Good Knowledge and understanding of the pump market, chemical processing Industry is a plus
  • Strong sales & technical background
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to interface at all levels in an international environment
  • Good presentation skills. Must have strong ability to explain technical information.
