The chipset and Software team (part of Systems and Technology) has the assignment to perform research system studies within both the hardware and software technical domain. The emphasis is on product performance, and involve areas like hardware and software architecture, energy performance, and cost improvements etc.
We are strengthening our team with an experienced programmer, who has extensive experience of development of Linux products in a Linux environment, as well as having solid programming skills in C/C++ and on at least one scripting language. You should also have documented experience from troubleshooting of embedded systems, experience from network products and cloud solutions. Overall system design or FPGA programming or toolchains experience is meritious.
As a person you should be a self-motivated, positive, outgoing team player with very strong analytical skills.
You as an applicant should also have a master degree in Computer Engineering (or equivalent), and be fluent in written and spoken English.

You are confident in solving complex technical problems across organizations as part of a small team. You are analytical, structured and result oriented. You will find creative solutions when lacking information and act outside your formal area of responsibility when needed.
You are an experienced senior programmer, who has extensive experience of development of Linux products in a Linux environment, as well as having solid programming skills in C/C++ and at least one scripting language. You should also have documented experience in at least one of the areas; system design, troubleshooting of embedded systems, experience from network products or cloud solutions.
Required Competence / Experience
Excellent technical competence and ability to drive studies within the C/C++ programming language
Knowledge of system implementation in Linux
A genuine interest in programming
Ability to find and drive continuous improvement work
Good communications skills and a relationship builder
Fluent in written and spoken English
Technical education on university level is required.
