Business Administration Solutions
Business Administration Solutions is a global unit within Group IT in charge of all IT deliveries related to Business Administration solutions. The mission of the unit is to ensure that the Volvo Group's IT solutions and IT projects within the area of Business Administration area managed in an optimal way.
Solution Center Human Resources
The Solution Center Human Resources is responsible for all deliveries related to solutions in its scope: Human Resources, including global and local solutions. The Solution Center has full responsibility for runtime activities (including cost, quality of service management) and for the delivery of projects. The Solution Center is supporting roadmap design and long term planning in its area. It is then responsible for driving deliveries according to the global solutions agenda. The function is staffed with its own resources but also complemented with resources coming from the other units in Corporate Process & IT to fulfill the different deliveries.
Solution Expert for Cornerstone OnDemand Volvo Group Navigator Solution
We are looking for a Solution Expert for the common platform for people development – Volvo Group Navigator – based on the Cornerstone OnDemand platform.
The solution supports a number of different HR Processes, mainly learning, compensation and talent management.
In this role you will be part of a global team which consists of a Delivery Manager, Solution Leader and a Team Leader, complemented with resources coming from Shared IT Services.
You will report to the Delivery Manager for the Navigator Application within the SDU BA - Solution Center HR.
The Solution Expert (SE) shall take responsibility for the application lifecycle management for a single or group of application(s) within a specified business process.
The SE also takes responsibility to manage key users, business and IT requirements for applicable solution(s).
The SE operationally manages the solution(s) on behalf of or in collaboration with the Solution Leader.
The SE mainly interfaces with Process & Solution Key-users and Solution Leaders. The job requires excellent solution understanding, combined with related process knowledge and solution dependencies and interfaces.
Example of ‘Responsibilities’
Provide process and functional application support (business solution support) within the dedicated solution area.
Be a Subject Matter Expert within dedicated solution area.
Participate as a solution expert in business activities.
Support the Solution Leader to secure and maintain complete solution documentation including user manual and training material and its execution for the solution.
Execute trainings together with Process and Solution Key Users.
Manage the business configuration of solution(s), support with master data setup etc.
Support the review of and analyze the business process and business requirements and its impact on the overall solution.
Provide input to the requirements for hand over from project to maintenance.

Good understanding of the HR business processes and solutions.

Experience from working in an IT delivery organization, including solid knowledge about methods used.
Experience from working in a global context.
Experience of teamwork and collaboration, is a key factor to success.
Excellent communication & presentation skills are a requirement.
The availability to travel, both domestic and international.
Complete proficiency in English is a requirement.
