Management Assistant to VTC&RT Telematics
On-board Telematics (OBT) is a global department within GTT Vehicle Engineering, established to secure connected vehicles supporting the increasing demand for soft products. Connectivity is a key enabler for fleet management, uptime services and advanced vehicle services such as driver assistance and fuel reduction, targeting reduced costs as well as increased revenues. The telematics components build a global telematics platform utilized by the brands within the Volvo group.

As Management Assistant you are assisting a multi-site management team with an active participating and coaching role to strive forward. You have great people skills together with an intercultural understanding since we are represented globally. You need to be a strong team player with high adaptability and be able to take initiatives. Enthusiastic and flexible with a proactive, helpful and open attitude is highly valued. You have a good eye for what needs to be done and make sure it happens. This means you are proactive and like to improve things within your (or other) working areas and you are not reluctant to changes.
Responsibilities and tasks
You will be responsible for internal/external communication and calendar management involving the opportunity to create and maintain a wide network within the Volvo Group. As a management assistant you will be managing and maintaining schedules for the various meetings and committees as well as the travel arrangements. The position also includes having a responsibility to prepare, plan and document the management team meetings including preparing the strategic agenda. Furthermore, you will be “the-spider-in-the-net” for numerous of performance reports throughout the department. A minor part of the position responsibility is to handle controlling and account invoices for the department. Last but not least, you will be the champion leading the work on our Gothenburg site for health and well-being.
Working in a global environment you must be fluent in English. Working as a management assistant you need to have good administration and communication skills, you are service-minded and flexible. Since you will have responsibility to coordinate many of the main deliveries of the department you should have a strong ability to organize, create structure and prioritize between a wide range of issues in an effective way. You enjoy high tempo, variety and a large portion of own responsibility, at the same time as you enjoy working with traditional administrative assistant duties.
