The solutions and databases created by Multum are central to many clinical decision support systems, electronic health records, and integrated healthcare support systems currently in use by multiple acute care and home care providers.

As a Licensed Pharmacy Researcher you will work extensively with the Swedish drug database, Svenska informationstjänster för läkemedel (Sil), research and design performance improvement and clinical decision support content for professionals and consumer audiences, and test clinical content through a suite of data entry utilities and applications.


  • Works with third-party drug content providers to incorporate Swedish Sil drug content into clinical decision support applications.

  • Participates in reviewing and mapping of Swedish Sil database to the Cerner Multum Universal Drug Database.

  • Reviews and interprets Swedish Sil database into Cerner Millennium format.

  • Builds additional clinical data elements needed in Cerner Millennium but not included in Sil drug database.

  • Provides clinical review of drug content, including drug names, clinical terms and abbreviations.

  • Performs pre-release certification by installing into internal domains.

  • Drives issue investigation between clients and across multiple Cerner teams.

  • Drives issue resolution between Sil drug database and multiple Cerner teams.

  • Provides demonstrations to clients.

Basic qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Care or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

  • At least 2 years of community or clinical pharmacy setting work experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Exceptional writing, proofreading and editing skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications.

  • Fluent in English and in Swedish.

  • Pharmacy Technician certification or equivalent experience.

  • Willingness to relocate to Gothenburg.

  • Willingness to travel up to 20%

Preferred knowledge and skills

  • Knowledge of the Sil drug database.

  • Experience with query languages, such as SQL.

  • Experience in literature retrieval, evaluation and interpretation.
